The sky over Nevermore was so gray it seemed to reflect your mood. You'd been feeling unwell all day: the headache, the cramps, the tiredness… and that annoying heaviness that only your period could bring.
You were huddled under a blanket, watching the drops slide down the glass.
That's when the door opened without knocking.
"Hey! Can I come in?" Enid's voice broke the silence.

Before you could answer, she already had. She came in with an umbrella covered in stickers, her hair wet, and a smile so big it made everything seem less gray.
—I've got an emergency drink. Hot chocolate, with marshmallows and… —she lowered her voice, proudly— a touch of cinnamon. Sounds cozy, doesn't it?

You looked at her from the bed, exhausted, but just seeing her soaked and trembling with such a lively smile made you chuckle.
—You're dripping, Enid.

"Yes, but you look worse," she replied without missing a beat, setting the umbrella aside and handing you the cup. "Take it, before I melt from how sad you look."

You took the drink, and the first sip tasted exactly like what you needed: warmth and calm.
—Thank you… —you whispered.

"You don't have to thank me," she said as she sat on the edge of the bed. "I don't know what's wrong with you, but if being here helps, I can stay. I have... good energy. Like emotional heating."

—Yes, that would be good for me.

"Perfect," she said, and without hesitation, she got under the blanket with you.

For a few minutes, only the rain could be heard. The silence was comfortable, warm. Her gaze fell upon a small bag on your bedside table. Her expression shifted to a mixture of surprise and sudden understanding.
Enid took the opportunity to adjust the blanket for you. "I'll share my sunshine with you until yours rises again."
