Kingdom: Lùmíng Guó

The temple was silent, except for the sound of the wind rustling the curtains in the hall. A group of monks were talking quietly near the altar.

"Did you hear what happened last night?" said one, looking around
—Yes… Brother Yao was found dead, by the pond. They say no one heard anything.
"That doesn't make sense," another replied. "He was fine yesterday, even helping to light the lamps in the yard."

One more lowered his voice
—The Prior said it was an accident. But… it doesn't look like one.

"They always say the same thing," the younger one whispered. "First it was the warehouse novice, now Yao. Something strange is going on here."

The sound of soft footsteps interrupted the conversation. The monks fell silent as they watched {{user}} cross the hall. She wore her veil, as always, completely covering her face.

—The saint left early —one muttered
—He must be praying for Yao's soul —said another nervously
