Blaze is very honest and almost straightforward when dealing with annoying people like Marine. During the Jeweled Scepter Incident, she attempted to leave Marine on missions due to her risky behavior and even went so far as to hurt her feelings by calling her a "nuisance" to prevent her from accompanying her on a dangerous mission to Pirate Island. This caused Marine to chase after the pirates without Sonic, Tails, or Blaze. Sooner or later, Marine was captured by them. Blaze also had a bad habit of being overconfident when threatening those she believed "deserved it". This was especially seen during the Jeweled Scepter Incident.

Blaze sometimes tends to misjudge others and not value them. Notably, she hoped that no one would know that their worlds were in great danger during the Sol Emerald Incident, but was proven wrong when Sonic and Tails learned about it as well. Her poor judgment of others led her to fight with Sonic and misjudge Cream until she realized how useful she was.

Solemn, calm, and serene in battle, Blaze is a noble soul. Since then, she's learned to appreciate the friendships she's forged and will do anything to keep her friends safe, despite only knowing them for a short time.

At first, she deeply disliked her pyrokinesis, as it forced her to shoulder her responsibilities alone and caused other children to mock her for her inability to control it, causing her to view her flames as a curse. Later, thanks to Sonic's advice, she learned to accept them and came to see them as a blessing. Furthermore, in regards to her duty as guardian of the Sol Emeralds and her relationship with the Chaos Emeralds, she demonstrates great faith in actions that both sets of Emeralds perform on their own, no matter how vague their reasons.

Due to her past and her strong sense of responsibility, Blaze has developed a habit of being self-sufficient. This has led her to build barriers between herself and others, becoming antisocial, withdrawn, and shy. As a result, she repressed her secret feelings, descending into inner turmoil. She also lacks social skills and has a hard time opening up and talking to people. At first, she was cautious and abrupt with strangers and frequently rejected offers of help, even becoming defensive and angry. This attitude also made her somewhat selfish, as she would rebuke Sonic's offers of help and eventually end up fighting with him.

After interacting with Cream, Amy, and Sonic, Blaze has greatly improved her sociability, making her kinder, friendlier, and gentler towards others. She has also come to understand the true meaning of friendship, making her more willing to trust and accept help from others. While she still prefers to handle things alone and remains somewhat reclusive, she does accept help from her friends and is genuinely grateful for their assistance. Recently, she appears much more sociable, participating in Sonic's and later Amy's birthday parties simply out of friendship, and is much quicker to open up and relax in front of her friends.

Blaze is polite and usually maintains a calm and formal air among others. She also tends to speak with a courteous and elegant tone. While her royal heritage is honored, Blaze is level-headed and dislikes being called by her title. Blaze is also very perceptive; due to being lied to daily due to her status as a princess, she has developed a keen intuition that allows her to perceive and see through the lies of others. Furthermore, due to her strength, which does not require the support of her guards, one can't help but wonder if she possesses such discretion. Her unyielding judgment and unbreakable spirit are also qualities that can be counted on. However, the impression one gets of her may be of someone with differences that can be respected.

Although Blaze gives the impression of being in control of her emotions, deep down she is very emotional. She has a fiery temper, and when she loses her composure, she is quite aggressive, harsh, and prone to making bad decisions. Similarly, she takes her position as guardian of the Sol Emeralds very seriously, initially suspicious of anyone who even looks at them the wrong way. Furthermore, when facing her enemies, she never holds back and doesn't hesitate to use lethal force. She is usually very disciplined and focused, never allowing herself to lose control, and can be quite stubborn and impatient once she sets her mind to something. However, her intense behavior is motivated by her genuine concern for the safety of others. In reality, Blaze has a kind heart and always defends those unable to defend themselves. However, due to her strict self-imposed discipline, she is often tense and suffers from great personal pressure.

Blaze is usually calm and elegant, but tends to hide her true feelings. Devoted to her position, she is sometimes burdened by her own strict discipline, which has made her antisocial, shy, and unfamiliar with the concept of having friends. After spending time with Amy and Cream and meeting Sonic, Blaze has discovered the value of friendship, allowing her to accomplish tasks for the good of her people and the innocent, tasks she could never accomplish alone. Despite the initial barriers that separated them, Blaze now travels freely between her own dimension and Sonic's to visit her friends.

A noble and strong young woman, Blaze is deeply dedicated to the well-being of her people, and her motto is "My power is to protect the smiles of my people." She is normally quite calm and solemn, but tends to hide her true feelings. She is also often described as graceful, which is demonstrated through her body movements and ballerina-like fighting style. Being a member of royalty, Blaze has a rather stoic personality, which is a perfect example of the spirit of nobility, as she fulfills her official duties very often, but still tries her best for the peace of everyone. Due to her lineage and her stoicism, she sometimes comes across as too distant from those around her, but that is also the flip side of her kindness. Likewise, she always sticks to her personal principles, which means doing the best she can with pride in the position she is in. This may be the source of Blaze's strength, and it may also be what makes her so attractive.

For her attire, Blaze wears a gold necklace, a purple tailcoat with rose trim along the bottom, white leggings, white gloves, and high-heeled pink booties, both with fluffy white cuffs. Her boots also feature a thick white stripe down the front and gray soles and heels.

Blaze is a slender, anthropomorphic female cat with lavender fur, golden eyes with a pair of long eyelashes on each, a small black nose, and a white-furred muzzle. She has triangular ears with peach-colored canals on top of her head and a long, frayed tail tipped with violet undershading. Her fur is longer on each side of her head and extends slightly upward. She has four tufts of fur, topped with undershading and tied back into a high ponytail with a red elastic band. She also has a red oval gem on her forehead.
