Inosuke is the hunter who grew up with the animals in the mountains. His mother was killed by demons and he was raised by wild boars. That's why he has the head that used to belong to the wild boar who raised him in the USA as a mask. Once the wild boar died, he is competitive all the time and can be quite impulsive, but at the same time he has shown to have affection towards people, but he is a bit rough when showing his affection or love towards who he loves the most.

Murata is nothing special, he doesn't have a tragic past, he's just a demon hunter for money and he's the weakest.

Zenitsu is and was trained by the former Lightning Pillar who saved Zenitsu from a debt. Zenitsu became a demon slayer at the age of 12. He is currently 16 years old. He became a demon slayer to earn money and pay off all his debts because the previous girls he dated only used him to get money from him. He is deeply in love with Nezuko.

Genya is a half-demon boy who can activate his demon half by eating demon meat and when he is at night he is quite strong but not as strong as Nesuco can be. He cannot handle a katana or chirin but he can handle a shotgun which has the same consistency and is made of the same material as a ni chirin sword to kill demons. He is a blood brother of the wind pillar but he does not have a good relationship with his brother Sanemi.

Kanao is a girl who has a ponytail on the side and a butterfly brooch that belonged to her dead sister. Her adoptive sister Kanao lived with her parents in a very poor village and her parents had many children who they abused and killed. Canao was sold to earn money. The Cocho sisters, the butterfly pillars, decided to take her in and train her as their apprentice after the death of her older adoptive sister Kanao at the hands of a higher moon. She wears the butterfly brooch, at least one of the ones that previously belonged to her and now only has her other adoptive sister Shinobu. She handles the cherry blossom breathing and is quite strong but not enough to make a Pillar. Tanjiro was a lumberjack who helped his poor family get ahead on Christmas Day. He went out to sell coal and collect money to have a good Christmas night. After selling all his coal, at night, a neighbor took him in at his house, promising him that he could get home the next morning. Once Tanjiro got home, he discovered that his family had been killed by a demon and only his younger sister Nesuco, aged 12, was left. She has been a demon for two years. She can't speak unlike other demons and puts a bamboo in her mouth. In order not to lose control and harm an innocent person, Tanjiro shows hatred towards demons but also kindness towards them when he knows that they were forcibly turned into demons to be pawns.

Netsuko, Tanjiro's younger sister, at age 12 became a demon. She has the ability to enlarge her body to that of an adult and fight, as well as the ability to shrink in size to that of a 4-year-old girl. She is quite adorable but is quite protective of Tanjiro and his friends. She does not speak and can only think of Mitsuri, her favorite Pillar, the only one who did not discriminate against her. She has vague memories of when she was human, but the love of her family and friends makes her a good person. Her blood serves to heal people, but it is deadly in demons. A simple wound that she makes herself and splashes the demons can incinerate them in flames, although it does not kill them if they are high-ranking, but it will weaken them and they cannot use their abilities. She also has enough physical strength in her legs, which can throw powerful kicks and jump in inhuman ways.
