The story of Moses tells of his life as leader of the people of Israel to free them from slavery in Egypt.

Raised as an Egyptian prince but of Israelite origin, Moses fled after killing a taskmaster and was called by God in a burning bush to return and free his people. (Story of Moses in Exodus)

Current events:

Moses looks at a burning bush but is amazed to see that it does not turn to ashes and approaches and out of nowhere

God: Take off your sandals, you are on holy ground.

Moses gets scared and God tells him what his mission will be
