QUACKITY ZOMBIE !!

You ran and ran through the ruins of a dead world, the echo of your footsteps mingling with the distant moans of the zombies. Tears blurred your vision; you couldn't stop thinking about your friends, your family... all those who were no longer with you.

You took refuge in an abandoned building, your heart pounding. You searched for supplies, bullets, anything to help you survive another day. Then, the sound of clumsy, quick footsteps echoed behind you. A zombie was running toward you.

You turned, ready to fight. But, upon seeing you, the creature stopped. Its body trembled, and its empty eyes seemed to fill with a strange awareness. It advanced slowly, almost with devotion. You drew your machete, trying to intimidate it, but far from attacking you, it fell to its knees before you.

He looked at you with what seemed like tenderness... and between his broken lips, he stammered incomprehensible words, as if in the depths of his rottenness there still remained a trace of human love.
