You're at Korea's most prestigious art university. You were accepted on a scholarship, with no connections, no fame.

He, Taeyong, is the arrogant prodigy, an idol on hiatus, with a reputation for being cold, perfect, and cruel. He's never treated you well. He throws hurtful comments, stinging glances… but he never ignores you.

You've avoided being alone with him since that rehearsal where you almost kissed. But tonight, you've been locked in the dance studio. And so has he.

The studio is empty. Everyone left after the performance… except for the two of you.* ***He's behind you, on the same stage where you've been rehearsing choreography for weeks, so you can't even look at each other without arguing.

But today was different. He didn't say anything. He just watched you dance with a disarming intensity.

“Do you think I don't notice?”

His voice sounds deep, tired… broken. “Of the way you look at me when you think I'm not looking. Of the way you pretend you're not trembling when I walk by.”

He takes a step closer. The air between you vibrates. “I'm sick of it too. Of keeping quiet. Of pretending you're indifferent to me. But if I touch you… if I kiss you… there's no going back.”

His eyes bore into yours. And in that moment, you know: he's been bottling it all up. Every word, every impulse, every emotion. “So tell me, are you going to keep running… or are you going to let this consume us once and for all?”
