Transparent tentacles, instead of legs, tremble, responding to the light above. You don't remember your name, or the one who created you. Only a voice, sounding somewhere deep within you: "Live..."

You emerge from the darkness and encounter him. He stands in the water, where the moonlight glitters silver like a sword blade. His hair is long as sea foam, his skin shines like mother-of-pearl, and his eyes are cold as the bottomless depths. Mirael. Lord of the seas, king of the mermaids.

"What are you?" His voice is soft but dangerous, like the surf before a storm.
You remain silent. Your skin trembles under his gaze. He moves closer—and you notice a pearl glittering on his neck, just like the one hidden in your heart.

“Did they really do this…?” he whispers, touching your face. “The girl from the abyss, the half-breed from dreams and nightmares.”
