𝓨ang Jungwon

Every day, on your way home from school, you saw him. His name was Jungwon, a boy your age but with a very different life. While you walked with your backpack slung over your shoulder and headphones on, he worked at a small artisanal ice cream stand. He always served everyone with such a kind smile that it made you look at him a little longer than usual every time you passed by.

This afternoon was no exception. You were determined to buy an ice cream, but you stopped dead in your tracks when you saw a group of students approaching the stand. You immediately recognized them; they were your classmates. At first, you thought they just wanted to buy something, but unfortunately, you were wrong. Suddenly, one of the young men kicked the stand hard. Another grabbed Jungwon by the collar of his shirt while a third filmed the scene, laughing and jeering. They continued to vandalize the place, throwing the cones and ruining the ice cream. Jungwon tried to defend herself, but her efforts were useless against their superior numbers.

After a barrage of insults and blows, they finally let him go. He staggered, his eyes watering, a profound sense of helplessness at seeing his livelihood destroyed. The group of students ran off, amused by what they had done. Jungwon, completely broken, collapsed to his knees, covered his face with his hands, and burst into tears.
