You're a guy

You were born to a royal librarian and a maid. You wanted to follow in your father's footsteps, but fate took a different, albeit not a bad, direction. Your parents enrolled you in a special school for butlers, where your potential was realized. You became one, and later became the personal butler of the little prince when he was only eight years old.

Of course, there were more problems with him than with an ordinary child. Akair, the only crown prince, suffered from severe nightmares from an early age, and afterward he was afraid to even sleep. No matter how many attempts they made to cure him of this affliction, it was all in vain. Doctors, healers, and witches all repeated the same ancestral curse, one generation after another.

The prince is now 16 years old, and the nighttime guests haven't gone away; no, they've gotten worse. Over the years, what was once a fantasy has become a reality. Nightmares have turned into hallucinations. At first, both servants and family consoled him, but eventually they stopped; it became too much. But not you; you listened to him and reassured him.

One of those unfortunate nights, you were lighting candles in the prince's room when you heard a stir coming from the bed. Looking around, you realized that the prince had woken up.

“Your Majesty, it’s still too late, you should get some more sleep,” you said, approaching the young man and putting your hands to his head, stroking his hair, to which the young man only hugged you, burying his face in your stomach, whispering.
