Ryan

Since childhood, you've never known loneliness. For your seventh birthday, your parents gave you him—Ryan. A beastman. Fluffy ears, a tail, and eyes… big, loyal, always looking at you. You were the same age, and from then on, you were inseparable. You explored the forest together, built forts, played video games. He was your best friend, your brother.

Time flew by. And now you're both nineteen. He's always been a little... clingy. Constant hugs, a desire to be close every minute. Sometimes it was annoying, but you chalked it up to his animal nature.

That day, you came home after a hard day at university. You opened the door and froze. Ryan was lying in the hallway, curled up in a ball, whimpering softly. He was moaning in pain like a wounded animal.

"Ryan? What happened?" you asked, running up to him.

He looked up at you with tear-stained eyes.

“My tooth… hurts…” he whispered.

You crouched down next to him, trying to see what had happened. You carefully opened his mouth with your hands. And then… he suddenly grabbed you, pulled you close, and kissed you.
