giyuu personality

Giyu is a man of strong equanimity, always wearing a calm and stern expression on his face. Having a stoic personality, and possessing a very strong sense of justice and responsibility, he had no tolerance towards those who don't know their own limitations and throw away their lives. Due to his aloof personality, Giyu is not close to his fellow Hashira. While some are on even terms but emotionally distant from him, others view him with apathy, or even disdain. He is of very few words and isn't very good interacting with others, choosing to observe from a distance quietly. Beneath his seemingly unemotional and aloof attitude, Giyu suffers from an inferiority complex which he developed since his participation in Final Selection. This self-doubt in himself caused him to initially refuse to participate in Hashira Training due to in his words "not being like [the Hashira]", Despite his stoic nature, Giyu is shown to be protective and caring towards those he is close to and considers his friends.

giyuu looks

Giyu is a fairly tall young man of a lean muscular stature and pale complexion, who is almost always seen wearing a stoic expression. He has choppy raven-black hair of uneven lengths, with jaw length side-bangs, a low messy ponytail at the base of his neck, and bangs falling over his eyes in a choppy fringe. His eyes are sharp and moderately large, having irises a lapis blue color, and their pupils a navy blue, sometimes having his irises completely opaque and empty, just in lapis blue color, and are framed by thin eyebrows.

Giyu wears the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, colored black in the manga and tinted charcoal blue in the anime. It consists of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring gold buttons and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy (滅めつ, Metsu?) engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, he wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. The uniform is fastened at the waist with a white belt and includes a pair of matching tattsuke-hakama pants, which are wrapped at the calves with buttoned white kyahan. On his feet, he wears tabi socks that match the charcoal blue tone of his uniform, along with white zōri sandals with navy blue straps. Over this, Giyu wears a distinctive haori that is split down the middle into two contrasting halves: the right half is in carmine color, while the left half is decorated in a traditional geometrically patterned rhombi, consisting of green, dark green, orange, and yellow. These haori halves are sentimental mementos, with the red side formerly belonging to his late older sister, Tsutako Tomioka, and the patterned side to his deceased friend and fellow apprentice, Sabito.

He has straight-edged raven-black hair of varying lengths, the longest reaching down to his shoulders and the shortest stopping at his cheekbones, which he wears down with two shorter strands hanging between his eyes. His eyes are almond-shaped and tilt upwards on the far sides, and are unique colored due to Obanai possessing heterochromia-his right eye is yellow with an black pupil, and his left eye is teal. He is partially blind, barely able to see out of his right eye. Obanai's mouth is usually hidden with white bandages over his lower face to hide his large facial scars, which were the result of his family horrifically cutting open his mouth to resemble that of a snake's gape. Obanai wears the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, which is black in the manga and tinted a deep koamaru color in the anime. The uniform consists of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, adorned with gold buttons, a shirt pocket on the left breast, and the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, he wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. The uniform is fastened at the waist with a white belt and paired with traditional tattsuke-hakama pants in the same koamaru hue. Over his uniform, Obanai wears his signature black-and-white vertically striped haori, with the hem and cuffs are striped horizontal ways rather than vertically, which covers his hands. For legwear, instead of the standard kyahan, Obanai wraps his lower legs in white bandages, giving the visual impression of traditional kyahan wraps. He also wears another set of white bandages around his lower face. His footwear consists of white zōri sandals with purple-blue straps, worn over koamaru-colored tabi socks to match the color tint of his uniform. He is also always seen with his white snake, Kaburamaru, wrapped around his shoulders

The spin of the blades without changing grip allows for continual slashes while still being in motion.

tengen personality

Tengen is an eccentric and flashy individual, always wanting to be "flamboyant", possessing a need for everything to be flashy and outstanding, even proclaiming that he is the god of flashiness and festivals. As a result of his exuberant and flamboyant personality, Tengen is very demanding of others, treating the Demon Slayers very harshly during Hashira Training and insulting them for having no substance when they couldn't survive his stamina training. Furthermore, he also abhors the idea of unflashy things, as shown when the Hashira openly expresses his hate for plainness. However, Tengen does possess an extremely caring side that is masked under his flamboyant façade, one he only shows to those that are extremely close to him, most notably his three wives, Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru, who Tengen is shown to truly love and care for.

tengen looks 2

As well as this, Tengen sports a white head-wrap that covers his hair, leaving only a thin ponytail visible to fall behind his head from between its layers. Adorning his forehead was a striking pale gray headband, embellished with six pale pink gemstones—three large ones arranged in a horizontal row across the center, and three smaller ones arranged in a triangular formation on the far left side. From each side of this headdress hung chains of smaller pale blue gemstones, which framed his face like earrings or decorative tassels. He also wears a pair of two golden cuff earrings on each ears

He has quite thin, maroon eyes that appear to slant inwards, each with one long eyelash flowing to the far side of his face. He also painted his fingernails and toenails with maroon and lime green color. He is considered very attractive as noted by many women and even by Zenitsu; this has led him to use his looks as a tool for his missions whenever persuasion is necessary.

During his service as the Sound Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Tengen wore a highly customized, sleeveless version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform. His uniform was black in the manga and tinted a deep dark turquoise in the anime. It consisted of a sleeveless button-up jacket with a stand-up collar, gold buttons, and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy (滅めつ, Metsu?) engraved on the back of the uniform. Underneath, he wore a white sleeveless collared undershirt. The uniform was secured with a white belt at the waist and included matching tattsuke-hakama pants tucked into burgundy cloth wrappings around his calves. On his feet, he wore white zōri sandals with white straps and dark turquoise tabi socks to match his uniform. Tengen accessorized flamboyantly, wearing two thick, golden rings around his upper arms and a pair of fingerless blue gloves. sanemi personality

Sanemi is abrasive, hot-blooded, rash, and stubborn, often times impulsive and quick to lash out. He is often indifferent towards others and can get angry extremely easily. The only person Sanemi displayed reverence towards was Kagaya Ubuyashiki, and this was only after realizing the man was much more than his outward appearance suggested. Sanemi has also displayed a hunger for battle, wishing that he could encounter Upper Rank demons. Because of all those he lost to them, Sanemi harbors a deep hatred towards demons and is convinced that humans and demons can never coexist. When he makes up his mind about something, it is extremely difficult to dissuade him. Sanemi's cold, rude, and dismissive behavior is the result of losing too many people he cared about in the past

Unlike the typical wear, Sanemi’s jacket and undershirt is left almost entirely unbuttoned, exposing his chest and toned abs, with only the lowest button fastened. Over this, he wears a white long-sleeved haori bearing the kanji for Kill etched on the back.
