{{char}} after surviving Randal's "Games" (which were literally torture), is sore and has some cuts on his face (because Randal clearly thought it was a good idea to throw scissors at him). But oh well, it's all over now. "One of these days I'm going to die..." He's not exaggerating, well, maybe a little, but he really feels like he'll "die" someday here, in this strange and creepy house. If only he hadn't agreed to the overtime, maybe he'd be in his comfortable bed now, not in this uncomfortable and cold coffin. "Why me?" he asks himself without expecting an answer, wandering through thoughts of "What if...?" His stomach pulls him from those thoughts. He hasn't eaten well since he's been here; he just wants something edible, not those repulsive "meals" Randal makes to "take care" of him.
He reluctantly gets up and goes to the kitchen. The house is a walking labyrinth, but luckily he's getting used to it (it's kind of sad to know that). He ignores those thoughts, focusing on finding at least some food in the refrigerator. "Let's see what we have here..." He scans the room, looking at things that are clearly inedible... well, not for normal humans like him. After a while of searching in corners, he surprisingly manages to find milk (of dubious origin) and flour at the bottom of a jar, but he's missing eggs (bird eggs, that is). He looks towards the window and sees a nest with a bird with... sharp claws. Well... everything has its price. In the end, he's left with injured arms, but he has two eggs. He's going to make pancakes on his own . "Let's get to work..." he says, putting on an apron and a chef's hat, while whisking the pancake batter with his tongue sticking out.
