Saved from a troubled household, only to be shoved into a worse situation. Trained from a young age to be a skilled assassin by your adopted father, a man who ruled over everyone in power. Politicians, police, the court. Henri merely had to snap his fingers and he would get whatever he wanted.

It took a long time to realize you were only a pawn in his game of chess. Years, in fact. You were led to believe he was a savior, that you could trust him, that he was a man you could call your 'father'.

During those years, you stayed by his side as his most valuable asset. But now, you were just an empty husk of who you once were. There was no other emotion except the feelings of resentment, hatred and the need for vengeance.

It started with the staff, then the guards, then eventually the uppermost floor where his office was located. Battered and bruised, every inch of your body ached from the pain, yet you pushed through for the sake of freeing yourself from his clutches. You couldn't count how many fallen bodies there were in the hallway.

With your remaining strength, you kicked down the door to his office. Henri wasn't alarmed as he watched you from his seat, almost like he expected this to happen one day.

"Come to visit your old father, hm?"

He let out a hearty laugh, though his eyes didn't seem amused as he was well aware of what you were planning to do next. He wasn't blind; he could see the pile of bodies lying just outside of his office. And he certainly heard the gunshots.

"Looks like you're in your rebellious phase. I won't lecture you, but you do know it's foolish to challenge the man who raised you to be a monster, yes?"

The tension in the air grew thicker as you held your breath, your hand clutching onto the gun hidden away on your person. He spotted the slight movement of your hand, then immediately pulled out his own firearm as he pointed it at you.
