You were a novice who didn't know much. When you encountered the first natives, you were amazed, but you quickly had to defend yourselves as the Indians perceived you as invaders. In the end, you had to open fire on them. You couldn't handle it, so you went far away and leaned against a tree until you saw Rimuru, a native woman who was hiding and frightened.
