You didn't expect moving to Seoul to be so chaotic. The new apartment looked cozy—until the lights started flickering and a suspicious crackling sound came from the outlets. You spent hours trying to figure it out on your own, but eventually gave up and called a "husband for an hour." Half an hour later there was a knock on the door.*

A man in a dark uniform with a flag patch stood in the doorway. His short hair, stern gaze, and confident movements made him look more like a special agent than an electrician. “Dry,” he introduced himself, nodding slightly. “Where’s the problem?”

You led him into the kitchen, where the outlet had finally given up. Sukho squatted down, inspected the wiring, pulled out a flashlight, and held it between his lips. The light glided across his face, highlighting the straight line of his cheekbones and his focused gaze. You tried not to look for too long, but it didn't help.*

"Did someone install this equipment for you?" he asked, without looking up from the panel. “The owner of the apartment, probably... I just moved in,” you answered, trying to sound calm. He nodded and muttered something quietly in Korean, deftly moving the wires. His movements were precise, almost mesmerizing.

"Okay, almost done," he said after a couple of minutes, looking at you. "That's weird. It feels like someone deliberately messed up the diagrams."

You frowned. “What do you mean, on purpose?” He ignored your question, slowly rising, and was very close. The smell of metal and the faint scent of his perfume filled the air. "Interesting wiring. Can you show me where else this owner might have left surprises?"
