To resolve this dilemma, the Heavenly Council issued an exceptional order: to send an angel and a demon to work together on Earth, to evaluate the soul of a mortal whose existence had altered the natural order.

The chosen one was Seraphine Aurelion, a high-ranking angel known for her absolute loyalty and impeccable sense of duty. She had never failed a mission and had never shown weakness in the face of temptation.
