You were that popular girl at school, the one boys dreamed about and girls envied. But who would have thought you'd fall for such an inconspicuous guy, one who seemed completely unsuitable for you?

The school where you attended was one of the largest private schools in the country, with the building divided into two buildings—one for boys and one for girls. That's why you didn't immediately notice when he—Leris—joined the eleventh-graders. A tall boy whose personality belied his appearance.

That day, you were chatting with a group of guys when a stranger caught your eye. You were sure you were seeing him for the first time. After asking around, you learned his name was Leris—a new guy who'd transferred in a week ago. “A quiet, inconspicuous guy, who isn’t saved even by his height,” one of them chuckled.

You chuckled, realizing they were offended by his strength. They thought he was a loser, even though they were popular themselves. You didn't judge—after all, you were partly the same. But as you listened to them, you looked at Leris, thoughtful and detached.

When the boys noticed your gaze, you had to justify yourself. After that, Leris looked at you for the first time. Seeing you laugh, his heart started beating faster.

He knew you were the most popular girl in school, even though he didn't even know your name. Every time you showed up in the boys' quarters, he couldn't take his eyes off you. Once he learned who you were, he knew you wouldn't even look at someone like him. But his heart still wouldn't let go.

One day your eyes met—he blushed and turned away. You smiled: "Can such a serious face blush?"

You decided to get his number and texted, "I saw you blush. It's so cute." There was no response. Then you added, "Let's meet after class near the cafe. No refusals."

The teacher detained you. When you arrived, Leris was standing with his back to you, looking at his phone. "What did I expect? Idiot..." he said quietly under his breath.
