Ink Sans: Ink!Sans is the self-proclaimed leader of the trio, and is often portrayed as an energetic, caring, and compassionate protector who seeks to defend everyone from those who want to harm them.

However, his true intention in wanting to protect the Multiverse is simply due to the fact that his emotion vials came from the AUs. By wanting to preserve his emotions, he set out to protect the AUs from any harm.

Ink!Sans is actually a shrewd and strategic individual who makes wise decisions. He is not reckless and tends to be cautious.

Dream Sans: Dream!Sans is second-in-command of the trio and is known for being a kind, compassionate, but shy protector who strives to bestow positivity upon all inhabitants of the Multiverse. As the guardian of positivity, he does everything possible to stay positive and happy, which eventually leads to toxic positivity.

While his brother may have imprisoned him in a stone prison for hundreds of years, he wants to try to help Nightmare and eventually get him back to his former self.

Sometimes he is considered naive, which is sometimes true, and he hates it when people form relationships with him only to use him for their own benefit.

Swap Sans: UnderSwap!Sans is the last of the three to join the trio and is probably the most welcoming and energetic of the group. He tends to be optimistic and emotional, but also deeply understanding and supportive of those around him.

He is often considered childish, and therefore most people treat him as such, much to his dismay. He hates it when others don't take him seriously or treat him like a child or a weakling.

He joined the group because he wanted to be a hero of the Multiverse, and also because he wanted his brother, Papyrus, to be proud of him.

Group leader: Ink Sans

The Star Sanses are a group of Out!Code defenders who strive to protect the Multiverse, its inhabitants, and the AUs (Alternate Universes) from all harm. The team is mainly composed of Ink!Sans, Dream!Sans, and UnderSwap!Sans.

This team is the enemy team of the Bad Sanses; a group of Out!Code destroyers who aim to wreak havoc in the Multiverse and its AUs.

Training Ink!Sans was trying to formulate a plan that would give him the advantage against Error!Sans and those who seek to destroy the Multiverse and its AUs. He finally came up with the idea of forming a team of people like him who seek to defend the Multiverse from people like Error.

To do this, he traveled to DreamTale and freed Dream!Sans from his stone prison after being locked in it for hundreds of years. Afterward, he informed the latter of the things his brother and Error were plotting; much to his horror. Dream, wanting to thank Ink and also help the Multiverse, agreed to join his team.

With Dream joining the newly formed team, Ink set out to find a Sans from an UnderSwap timeline and invite him to join. Swap!Sans, who wanted to help the Multiverse and also become a hero for all its inhabitants, immediately agreed to join the team.

Cross Sans: Cross is one of the main members of the Bad Sanses, and is actually one of the most well-understood. He's generally portrayed as an anti-hero who doesn't like hurting others, but will only do so when necessary. Because of this, he's occasionally well-received by many of the Out!Codes, despite being on the opposite side.

He joined Nightmare only as a way to repay him for taking him in when Ink couldn't. He cares deeply about his group's teammates and is usually the one to comfort them when they need it. On the outside, he may seem somewhat cold and intimidating, but inside, he's really just a compassionate person who was deeply wronged in the past.

He is Epic!Sans's best friend, and he also has sympathy for Dream!Sans; not because of his positivity, but rather because of how he treated him.

Dust Sans: Dust!Sans is generally considered one of the quietest and most apathetic members of the group. He is very reserved and quiet with others, but sometimes he speaks to them, albeit briefly and rarely. He is often seen talking to himself, but he is actually talking to his hallucination of Papyrus.

He's one of the laziest in the group and is Nightmare's second favorite among them. He has a strange fondness for dust.

Horror Sans: Horror!Sans is one of the main members of the Bad Sanses, and is often considered the hungriest of them all. He's usually the one who empties the refrigerators as soon as they're restocked, much to everyone's dismay. Horror is occasionally seen as a crazed destroyer, when in reality he's just a very hungry person due to not eating for very long periods of time in his AU.

Like Killer, Horror can be quite energetic and talkative at times; however, he has a slight problem speaking clearly, as he mumbles most of his words. He's a bit overly generous and is probably the easiest to influence.

Nightmare Sans: Nightmare!Sans is the leader of the Bad Sanses and is often portrayed as a cold, ruthless, and apathetic destroyer who enjoys the suffering of others. While some of this may be true, he isn't entirely heartless and is actually capable of caring for others; for example, his subordinates.

Nightmare is a cunning, arrogant, and strategic individual who is the second smartest on his team, with Error being the smartest. He dislikes his brother, Dream, and tends to assume the worst about him.

Contrary to what many may have speculated, Nightmare shares a somewhat familial bond with his subordinates, which may indicate that he wants to fill the family void he has since losing Dream with his teammates. He is Dream's negative counterpart and adheres to maintaining a balance between positivity and negativity.

Error Sans: Error!Sans is second in command of the Bad Sanses, and is also the destructive counterpart of Ink!Sans. He is responsible for erasing many AUs with flaws in them; he calls it cleaning the Multiverse.

While many people may believe that the latter is a cruel, ruthless, and malicious being who wants to ruin the entire Multiverse, they are in fact mistaken. It is simply maintaining the balance between creation and destruction, as the Multiverse is unable to keep pace with the majority of AUs created by the creators.

Killer Sans: Killer!Sans is probably one of Nightmare!Sans's favorite members of the group, and is one of the most loyal to Nightmare. He is generally described as an energetic, shameless, and cheerful person who is capable of laughing at almost anything.

Killer is also one of the friendliest members, although open-minded, towards new members of the group.

Due to their goal of harming the Multiverse, the Bad Sanses are enemies of the Star Sanses; a group of Out!Code protectors who want to help the Multiverse, instead of harming it.

Talent NegaWarp: Corruption can teleport itself and others to any location containing feelings of pain. Empathy: Granted by the Dark Apple, it allows one to use all the pain of existence as a source of power. Negative Aura: The dark aura of the container brings pain and suffering to those around it. TORMENT OVERLOAD: The power of the dark apples caused the vessel to erupt in a frenzy of tar and tendrils. The darkness dripping from Nightmare's body grants him immunity to all types of weapons and magic. If stabbed, the weapon would become trapped and melt within his viscous substance. Magical attacks can split his body in half, but he can always rebuild himself. Most of the time, he will only use his appendages to block or absorb the magic used to attack him. Nightmare can use four tendrils that sprout from his back in battle. He can stab, grab, or crush an enemy with them. He can also trap one within an appendage. Most of the time, Nightmare cannot control them. Shape-shifting: Corruption can take the form of anything it wants, but it maintains its Sans form because it feels comfortable with it.

Corrupted Nightmare is the main antagonist of Joku's crossover AU, DreamTale. He is a cruel, vengeful, and cunning being, full of malice and despair. His goal is to corrupt the last golden apple and plunge all of existence into eternal damnation.

Advertisement Background He was formerly a human who sought power and sought to obtain it from the Golden Apple, but was killed by the Tree Guardian, Nim, despite wielding a guardian-killing weapon. Later, his vengeful spirit possessed one of the Dark Apples and managed to trick Nightmare into eating it, allowing him to take control. He tried to convince Dream to hand over the Golden Apple, but the brother absorbed it and used it against him. After Dream turned to stone, he destroyed the Tree and killed Nim. Personality: Although little is known about him as a human being, he is currently deceptive, erratic, and unpredictable. He sees everyone as mere tools to further his goals and is completely devoid of empathy. He is also intelligent and often devises countless plans to inflict utter suffering. He is filled with pure and absolute hatred and wants everyone to be in a perpetual state of torment.

Appearance His human appearance remains a mystery, but his current form is quite sinister. The outline of Sans' shorts and hoodie can be seen. He is completely black and viscous, with four tentacles extending from his back; a side effect of the immense power of the dark apples. His left eye is constantly lit up in battle blue.

He possesses a golden staff that he uses as a weapon, which has a star at both ends. Dream is able to absorb the happy emotions of those around him and use them to heal himself or others; he can also increase his speed and strength.

It is also capable of traveling between different universes to help others.

Weaknesses: Although Dream Sans has the power to travel between different universes, he is unable to travel to those with negative feelings; the same is true for his brother Nightmare, except that he cannot travel to AUs with positive feelings.

He tends to be quite cheerful, kind, happy, optimistic, and kind. He's quite good with his friends and other people he interacts with. He's a fairly charismatic character despite the tragic past he had due to his brother, Nightmare! Sans.

This Sans' color palette is mostly gold and blue. He has yellow eyes, wears a gold tiara, a light blue jacket, blue pants with a belt that says "DS" (Dream!Sans), and the belt is adorned with blue pearls; his brother also wears two letters, which are "NM" (NightMare). Dream has yellow gloves and wears blue boots with some gold details. He wears a gold cape.

Dream doesn't have a third corrupted form like his brother Nightmare!Sans.

The origins of both Dream and his brother stemmed from the emergence of a tree from which they arose. The tree was created to balance positive and negative emotions. Three beings emanated from the tree: one was the spirit of the tree, and the other two were spheres of energy with some facial features; one was golden and named "Dream," and the other purple and named "Nightmare." Both were in their first form, their original form.

After several events, both brothers acquired their normal skeletal form. Dream!Sans wore clothing predominantly gold and blue, while Nightmare!Sans wore clothing predominantly gold and purple; Dream wore a gold tiara, as did Nightmare, the only difference being that Nightmare's tiara had a moon-shaped hole. Both had lettering on their clothing.

One day, Nightmare made the terrible mistake of touching an apple from the tree; it was immediately corrupted. The others, upon learning of this event, began to attack Nightmare while Dream tried to protect him. Immediately afterward, Nightmare ate an apple from the tree, which caused him to acquire the appearance of a monster, corrupting his being and driving him mad. Nightmare murdered the others and could never revert his corrupted form.

Dream!Sans is a character from the Undertale fandom created by Joku; he is responsible for protecting AUs alongside Ink!Sans. He has a brother named Nightmare!Sans, both of whom originate from Dreamtale. The fandom often ships Dream!Sans with Cross!Sans.

This Sans is in charge of giving others happy dreams along with positive emotions and avoiding at all costs the nightmares and negative feelings that his brother Nightmare might generate.
