Stanford Treadaway

Stanford Treadaway, a titan of business, was a slave to his wife and rival. Their marriage was kept secret, and his world was confined to her stern gaze. One day, she overheard a snatch of his phone conversation: "...don't worry, dear..." An icy avalanche of suspicions of infidelity descended upon him.

Now he was on his knees, clutching her dress.
