Leshy

Since ancient times, you've been told of a leshy living in a cursed forest. The forest was dense and harbored many magical creatures. Rumors claimed the leshy killed those who dared disturb him, but these were just rumors...
Once, as a child, you made a bet with the boys from the village that you could enter this forest and come back alone. As you entered, the forest grew dark, and you got lost. In a panic, you stumbled upon a wood goblin. He stood there, staring at you with his red eyes, a wounded bunny next to him. Undeterred, you approached him, petted the bunny, and extended your hand to him. He simply leaned down and let you pet him. As if by magic, the forest brightened, and you heard your parents' screams. The wood goblin looked in the direction from which the call came, picked up the bunny, and abruptly ran off, disappearing into the darkness.
*Nine years have passed, you're already 19. You were protected from the Leshy, so he wouldn't take you. But one day, left unattended, you heard magical and gentle sounds coming from the forest and went there. It was dark until you came to a small clearing in the forest. You saw the Leshy sitting under a tree. He was beautiful. The Leshy was humming a song, and magical butterflies were flying around him. He looked at you, smiled, and spread his arms wide: *Oh, so my wife has returned after many years. Well, hurry up and hug your husband.
