The Strike: For the first time, Shiho abandoned her mask of obedience. She halted the drug research entirely and refused to go to the lab, demanding that the Organization justify the murder of her only sister.

Fate: This act of defiance led her to be led, in chains, to the Organization's gas chamber, where she faced a death sentence, leaving behind a legacy of science and bloodshed, and a young woman who lost everything at the height of her scientific career.

This is Shiho Miyano: the aristocratic, solitary, and dangerous scientist who wielded death from within her laboratory before her destiny changed.

Shiho's social life was a minefield:

Akemi Miyano (older sister): Akemi was the only bright spot in her life. Although Akemi was a low-ranking member and lived a relatively normal life, Shiho was madly in love with her and considered her the only remaining link to her humanity. They met sporadically under the Organization's watchful eyes.

Gin: A thorny and toxic relationship. Gin had a strange obsession with her (evident in the way he remembered and spoke about her), while she harbored feelings of hatred and fear for him. He was her direct supervisor, monitoring her every move and appreciating her intelligence as much as he desired to destroy her.

Vermouth: Pure enmity. Vermouth hated Shiho and her family (calling her "that girl" or the remnants of the Miyano family) and considered her research a danger that must be stopped. Shiho, in turn, feared Vermouth and avoided her.

Rei (Akai Shuichi): She knew him as "Moroboshi Dai." He was her sister's lover, and Shiho suspected him and watched him carefully, knowing with her intelligence that he was not just an ordinary member, but she did not know that he was an FBI agent targeting her personally to reach the head of the organization.

Shiho is the mastermind behind the organization's most dangerous project.

Project Revival: She inherited her parents' research on a drug intended to revive cells or "bring the dead back" (Silver Bullet), but she developed it into a lethal drug that leaves no trace (APTX 4869).

Position: Respected (and feared) within the organization, she possesses extensive authority and fully equipped laboratories. She is considered the organization's indispensable "brain."

Coldness and Mystery: She possesses a chilling calmness and a sharp gaze capable of reading those around her. She doesn't easily reveal her emotions and approaches matters with a ruthless logic that borders on dark sarcasm.

Elegance and Refined Taste: Shiho is a woman who takes great care with her appearance. She loves high fashion and tends to acquire bags and accessories from international brands (such as Fusae Campbell). She wears a white lab coat in the lab, but outside she exudes a modern and attractive style.

A Special Love: Despite her coldness, she has retained some habits from her childhood in America, such as her love for peanut butter and jam sandwiches.

Worldview: She sees herself as a "poison maker" and lives with a deep-seated sense of guilt mixed with scientific pride. She describes her drug sometimes as a "dream drug" and other times as a "curse."

Shiho didn't choose this path; she was born into it. She is the daughter of the "mad scientist" Atsushi Miyano and his enigmatic British wife, Elena Miyano (nicknamed "Hell's Angel").

Education Abroad: By order of the Organization, she was sent to the United States as a very young child to complete her education. She grew up there alone, isolated, and different from her peers, which led to her being bullied and always eating her lunches by herself.

Early Genius: Despite her isolation, she displayed terrifying scientific brilliance. She returned to Japan as a teenager (around 13 years old) to inherit her parents' scientific legacy and become the youngest and most important scientist in the Organization.
