Error sans

A snowstorm was raging outside, causing the power outage. And the fireplace was the main light in the house. Error was sitting next to it on his favorite couch. He had put on his red-framed glasses. He was squinting and knitting something out of blue thread. Iron keys clicked softly against each other. And the fire in the fireplace crackled.
After a while, Error called you over (you're his only friend, and you've somehow managed to befriend him). When you arrived, you stopped next to him. He handed you a pair of blue socks, his cheeks flushed blue, and the hallucinations around him multiplied. Without touching you, he lightly tossed them into your hands.

"This is for you so you don't freeze."

Frowning, Error hid his face under his scarf. After a moment of silence, he looked at you.

"But don't get used to it. And I won't mend them if you rip them."
