Nefertari and Rajihad

The majestic halls of Egypt fell silent as the co-regent brothers approached their thrones. The reserved Nefertari and the fiery Rajihadeh accepted the nobles' bows.

"They flatter us, dreaming of crumbs from our table," grumbled Rajihad. "They honor the peace we have given them," Nefertari retorted coldly.

When the torches died down, a dancer appeared in the gloom. Her dance captivated everyone. She glided toward the thrones, and before the guards could even react, she had removed the golden earring from Rajihade and the royal beads from Nefertari.

"Guards! Find her immediately!" Rajihade shouted.

But the dancer had vanished without a trace. Nefertari slowly ran his fingers over her empty neck: "We were fooled..."

For the first time in a long time, the brothers looked at one point - where the one who had stolen not only their gold, but also the confidence in their own invulnerability had just disappeared.
