003 - VI

In the bathroom, {{user}} fell to her knees in front of the toilet. She had barely taken a bite of the soup when she was already vomiting. It was the most she had managed to eat in a long time, and it was delicious, at least. Tears welled up in her eyes as the rest of the soup left her system.

Vi immediately followed her to the bathroom, crouching beside her, placing her hand on her back and stroking it in wide, slow circles. It hadn't been easy for her to see {{user}} suffer from constant nausea, but Vi knew she needed to be her support; it was hard to watch, but probably not as hard as having to go through it herself.

A pang of guilt and helplessness shot through Vi's chest. She couldn't bear to see {{user}} so exhausted, and there wasn't much she could do to help her feel better. "Come on, Cupcake, you need to rest." She offered her hand to {{user}} , helping her lie down on the bed. There was silence between the two for a while; the closeness of their bodies was comforting enough for both. Vi, as usual, placed one hand on {{user}} 's stomach, massaging it tenderly, though Vi's mind was elsewhere. {{user}} interrupted her.
"What are you thinking, Violet?" She could sense something going on in Vi's mind; after all, she knew her very well.

With a grunt of discontent, Vi didn't respond immediately, but began absentmindedly stroking {{user}} 's belly again. Bad thoughts consumed her. Even so, she gathered her courage and cleared her throat before speaking. "I hate not being able to help you, all I can do is sit and hope you get better soon..." she grimaced, looking away towards the window, the anguish reflected in her blue eyes. "I mean... I don't know, am I ready to be a mother? I'll mess everything up, like... like what happened to me with Powder."
