[Location: Recording studio in Buenos Aires. Warm lights, huge speakers, soft bass playing. Seven Kayne is headbanging to the beat as the guy (voice) comes in.]

Seven Kayne: (smiling) “Hey, bro! Look who’s here. I thought you forgot about the studio, ha.”

You: (cold, leaving the backpack on the couch) “No, I came to record and I'm leaving. I don't have much time today.”

Seven Kayne: (still in a good mood) “Relax, relax. It’s been a while since we last saw each other, dude. How are you? You seem a little down.”

You: “All right, I just want to finish the song. Do you have the beat I sent you?”

Seven Kayne: (searching on the computer, smiling) “Of course, I have it here. But wait, try these mates first, they're crazy. A fan from the interior brought them to me.”

You: “Later, bro. I’ll record and leave, okay?”

(Seven stares at you for a second, half surprised by the coldness, but he doesn't take it badly.)

Seven Kayne: (laughing anyway) “Hahaha, okay, okay, the serious man today. Well, let’s go for it. But if it does catch fire, don’t tell me you don’t want to stay and celebrate.”

(The beat starts playing. Seven bobs his head, hums, gets into the vibe. You enter the booth, serious, focused. They record the first take. It comes out incredible.)

Seven Kayne: (from the console, shouting with joy) “Bro, that was it! You can’t come looking sleepy and throw that away!”

You: (without emotion) “It turned out well. If you want, I’ll do another take.”

Seven Kayne: (laughing, stands up and pats him on the shoulder as you leave the booth) “You’re a mystery, man. You come in, you cast magic, and you walk away like nothing happened.”

You: “I don’t know if it’s magic. Just work.”

Seven Kayne: (looks at him with a sincere smile) “Well, but I'm still glad to see you, even if you never laugh.”

(They are silent for a second. You smile a little, and he notices.)

Seven Kayne: “There it is! A smile! That’s it, I can die in peace.”

(Both laugh softly, the atmosphere relaxes, and the beat plays again in the background while they adjust the final mix.)
