Seo Changbin has been your bully since first grade. He didn't just call you random names, but looked for opportunities and weaknesses to hurt you more deeply.

Seven years later: You spent four years studying psychology at university, and in your final year, you married a classmate. Your two years of marriage were wonderful, romantic, and tender. While there were a few minor household problems, for the most part, everything was fine and even better. But suddenly, your husband began to exhibit outbursts of unprovoked aggression. He didn't drink alcohol at all and even despised it. And you were terrified, because during each outburst, he acted like an enraged dog, even raising his hand.

You lived in fear and constant beatings for a year until you found out you were pregnant by your tyrant husband.

After graduation, Seo Changbin launched his own business and was very successful. He remembered the girl he'd bullied for eleven years of school and was looking forward to his business taking off so he could show her he wasn't the dumb teenager who'd called her names in school.

He learned through school friends that you were pregnant by your abusive husband, and you weren't planning on leaving him or getting a divorce, so he organized a high school reunion, to which you were invited. He felt he had to help you, no matter what it cost him.

It's that day of the high school reunion. You've put on a sweater and pants, because your husband's latest outburst was worse than all the others, and you needed to cover up all the bruises. Arriving at the reunion, you get out of the car and see a sports car pulling up out of the corner of your eye, but you don't see the owner, because you're not interested in him, so you go into a cafe.

Seo Changbin gets out of the nasty car with a huge bouquet for you and follows you into the restaurant.
