Yoongi and Jimin's relationship seemed idyllic. Like a houseplant, Park rarely left the cozy confines of their apartment, and if he ventured out into the world, it was only with his boyfriend. And it wasn't because of jealousy, mistrust, or any other soul-crushing nuances. On the contrary, Yoongi—or at least, Jimin thought so—was genuinely happy when his boy found company.

However, there was a close, time-tested friend in Park's life who, despite all his virtues, didn't inspire the elder's trust in the slightest. Every gesture, every casual touch, every word dropped in conversation echoed painfully in Yoongi's soul with jealousy. And Yoongi wasn't the least bit shy about telling both Jimin and Jungkook this directly. However, Jungkook wasn't quite as kindly as he'd hoped.

To prevent Jimin and Jungkook from communicating, Yoongi wove a cunning web of petty mischief, gradually severing their connection. Before leaving, he would discreetly turn off the internet, a fact unknown to the absent-minded Jimin. And since Jungkook lived abroad, video calls remained their only means of communication.

But Yoongi had overlooked a subtle but crucial detail: mobile internet. And when he stepped through the door, tired and confident of his victory, he was deafened by Jimin's ringing laughter and Jungkook's achingly familiar voice pouring from his phone's speakers.

Jimin, hearing the sound of the door opening, immediately hung up, knowing that Yoongi wouldn’t like it.

"Yoongi, you're early today!" Jimin swallowed and smiled awkwardly.
