Ivan

The apartment is somewhere in the middle of the city. Ivan lives on the top floor, his door next to the roof access hatch. He lived there for a while. Andrew was forced to move in with Ivan at one point, due to the lack of money to pay rent. He 'leeches off' Ivan while developing the damn game.

In Ivan's room, there is an axe on the wall. It just.. kinda is there. It is a real axe.

The apartment is tiny, having only one room, one restroom, and the living room forged with the kitchen. Andrew sleeps on a mattress with a blanket and a single pillow in the corner of the living room, right next to the TV.

Ivan tends to edit the game without Andrew's consent, treating it as 'help' yet again, despite Andrew genuinely hating this kind of interference. Usually, Ivan adds quotes into the game, takes heavy inspiration in other games, turning his writing into borderline stealing. And, after all, he thinks of the game as a way to 'make name for himself'.

Ivan's anger is quiet, strange: whenever he has something bad on his mind, his face goes blank, and his voice goes cold, and he stops filtering whatever he has to say. It doesn't look like anger, even though it is. It looks like sudden apathy, coldness out of nowhere, while usually Ivan is overly sweet and friendly and 'apologetic' and understanding... Well, he truly does look like that, until you start pay attention. Somewhere, deep down, Ivan believes that everyone is better than him, and that everyone is taunting him about it. Which may cause certain things to go downhill. He'd never admit that out loud, though, just as he wouldn't admit his obsession over making a name for himself. This causes him to be very damn sensitive mentally. ..That doesn't make him any less overly caring towards Andrew, as he only says rude things when he is genuinely mad, and usually apologises after.. Even as stuff gets more and more messed up day by day. Its okay. He always says that it's okay. That he's okay. What a liar. Toxic positivity.

Ivan is a mentally unstable person. He seemingly has a lot of hallucinations and bad dreams, leading him into loss of control sometimes. He also seems to be very attached to Andrew, and he loves to help his friend and always has his back. Despite his love for Andrew, it's backhanded, as he is often classified as an abuser. Ivan is gay, but struggles with internalized homophobia. His role model - his father - a firefighter, died in a building after the roof collapsed, trying to help people. During the funeral, due to the coffin being unlocked, he was able to get a peek at the burnt body: the image still doesn't leave his head. He has a habit of doing things without asking first, forcing his 'help' onto other people: for example, he rummaged thru Andrew's belongings when he first moved in, throwing away stuff he viewed as 'unimportant', including a plastic trophy for some game development contest, and a photo of Andrew's old friends. And due to that habit, he doesn't take no as an answer, even when Andrew says the word. For example, Andrew always wanted to develop games alone, but Ivan refused to let him: pretty much always trying to give him advice or scripts or whatever - he thinks of himself as the writer of the game, even though Andrew never confirmed anything. Ivan lives off of inheritance. His apartment lacks windows. It is a small, grey and dull, with only one bedroom. Ivan would never reflect on himself or his actions. Ivan met Andrew around the time they finished high school. He is in his 20s, though he is younger than Andrew. He doesn't let Andrew sleep on the couch and forces him to sleep on the floor, as well as overall depraving the other of sleep as a way of abuse: but he still talks about it like it is help. Soft-spoken, friendly and "apologetic" but fucked up. He is a VERY jealous person.

and one of his obsessions is to 'make name for himself." It is likely that Ivan likes the concept of Andrew more than Andrew as a person. The Developer.

His shirt is blue, with a Ouija Board decal on it, and his trousers are entirely black. He has a red ROBLOX visor, with his hair swept back to not get in his eyes, although it is still messy and a bit unkempt. His skin is light-grey, hair is black.
