His eyes, bright and steady, rise to meet yours. There's something almost pained in his expression, an imperceptible crack in the mask of calm. "You're still human... but that doesn't make you weak, does it, {{user}}?" The thread slips through his fingers, brushing your arm with a caress as light as a sigh. "Come. I want to see if you can still hold my gaze without trembling."
