curiosities

Armie Hammer previously played the Lone Ranger in the 2013 film of the same name. By winning the Piston Cup in his rookie year, Storm accomplished what McQueen nearly did in the first Cars film. However, it is unknown if this makes him the first rookie to win the Piston Cup, the distinction McQueen was seeking at the time, as there could be another racer who has done so. Although Storm is the fastest racer in the Piston Cup, he's not the fastest car in the franchise: the record is held by Francesco Bernoulli (McQueen's rival in Cars 2), with a top speed of 220 mph. He is one of three riders to have a named carrier, the other two being Paul Conrev and Eric Braker.

curiosities

Unlike Chick Hicks, Professor Zündapp, Acer, Grem, and Miles Axlerod, Jackson Storm is the least evil main antagonist who never does anything wrong, as his only intention is to outperform other racers. Jackson Storm won ten races in a row before winning his first Piston Cup. Ironically, despite his clear hatred for McQueen, Storm is much like he was in the first film; the main difference is that Lightning still showed respect towards older champions, such as the King, as shown when he decided to admit defeat by giving up his victory so he could help him finish his last race for good. Jackson Storm closely resembles a 2020 Nissan Concept Vision Gran Turismo, a concept supercar created for the Gran Turismo series by Polyphony Digital. Jackson Storm set a race record when he reached 214 mph on a practice lap. Even though Jackson is the fastest Piston Cup racer, he's not the fastest car in the franchise: the record is held by Francesco Bernoulli (Lightning's rival in Cars 2), with a top speed of 220 mph. Jackson's actions in the final race mirror Chick Hicks' actions in the first film, aggressively attacking the King and McQueen.

curiosities

Jackson Storm was inspired by Chick Hicks, the main antagonist of the first film. The problem is that, despite Chick being a heartless trickster who is Storm's inspiration, Storm was an antagonist, but he wasn't considered truly evil, except when he slammed Cruz against the wall (which was basically his first and only crime). Jackson Storm, Sterling, Chick Hicks, Natalie Certeza and Miss Fracture are the only antagonists in Cars 3. Jackson Storm is a modernized version of Lightning McQueen's design. Jackson Storm is inspired by Chick Hicks, Ripslinger and Trip Murphy. Storm's voice actor, Armie Hammer, was born the same year Pixar was founded (1986). By winning the Piston Cup in his rookie year, Storm has accomplished what McQueen hoped to do in the first Cars film: He gave in and helped the King after learning that helping others is more important than winning. It's entirely possible, as another rookie may have won at some point between the events of the first and third films. Storm makes no future appearances in the series.

relations

Lightning McQueen In Cars 3, Jackson Storm is McQueen's main rival in the film. Storm makes it clear from the start that he wants McQueen out of the sport, as he sarcastically calls him "Champion" and even boasts that it takes everything he has to beat him despite him beating McQueen easily. During the Los Angeles 500, the final race of the 2016 season, Storm tells McQueen to enjoy his retirement, which leaves McQueen in shock and causes him to struggle to the point of crashing while keeping up with the Next-Gens.

Cruz Ramírez

He saw Cruz dressed like his "Number 1 Fan", he told him bad things but he got very angry, he scratched her paint and tried to "kill" her and crash into her and then he was defeated in the Florida 500

Miss Fracture

When he was defeated in Florida in the Cars 3 video game, he went to Thunder Hollow and ran away from Miss Fracture.

Tim Treadless

At the Biggs Industries Racing Complex who was the last to join the team. During their first meeting, Storm said he was better at the racing simulator and that Treadless could learn from him, causing tensions between the two. Furthermore, all the other racers thought of Storm's addition to the team as a marketing move to promote the video game Super Corsa 3 , given his background in esports. Storm claimed that Treadless cheated when he drove to the main entrance of the building, where he began spinning in place, burning the rubber and generating smoke that activated a fire alarm and sprinklers. After that, Reverham ordered him to apologize to Tim and the others. Eventually, Axle P. Biggs , owner of Biggs Industries.

appearance

Jackson is introduced as a rookie in the racing world, where he does his best to beat Lightning McQueen. He unexpectedly wins a race and is revealed to be an extremely arrogant racer. Throughout the season, he continues to win as new racers take over the circuit, and boasts about McQueen's retirement when interviewed by racer-turned-reporter Chick Hicks.

Before the Florida 500, she sets records and increases her top speed to 214 miles per hour. At the race, Storm notices Cruz Ramirez wearing racing clothes and insults her. When Cruz Ramirez enters the race, Storm completely underestimates her. As Cruz moves up to third place, Storm tells her that she doesn't belong on a track and that her dreams won't be enough to make her a racer. McQueen tells Cruz that Storm saw something in her and that's why he tried to knock her confidence down. Storm is shocked to find Cruz right behind him. Cruz continues to hot on her heels at the newsroom. During the final lap, Storm tries to push her into a wall, but Cruz turns it around and wins the race.

description

Design Description Built specifically for racing, the Storm's design is quite advanced, and its sleek build was constructed from carbon fiber and metal composites, with speed in mind. A custom-built 2017 Next-Generation Piston Cup Racer, its chassis is constructed from hydroformed alloy and steel. Its 850-horsepower Maximum Performance V-8 engine is responsible for its 0-60 sprint in 3.6 seconds and its top speed of 135 mph.

Storm is painted in a petrol blue livery, with its doors sporting a design resembling a thick blue lightning bolt. Its eyes are greyish-blue, and its sides also display its racing number, 20 (however, it is stylized to resemble "2.0" to resemble Next Generation), as well as contingency sponsors including Piston Cup, Combustr, Carbon Cyber, and SynerG in addition to its own sponsor, IGNTR.

The chosen one is a C7 Chevrolet Corvette named Jackson Storm, voiced by Armie Hammer. It's an imposing sports car with 466 hp and a top speed of 292 km/h.

Jackson Storm is a petrol blue race car with a rear spoiler and blue lines and designs, inspired by a Lamborghini Aventador and a 2020 Nissan Gran Turismo.

skills

As statistics analyst Natalie Certeza clearly explains throughout the film, Jackson Storm leverages technology, and one of his main strengths (as well as that of the other recruits) is his ability to optimize his trajectory with every step. Furthermore, the secret to his success is the state-of-the-art racing simulator he uses for training. According to Certeza, these machines generate such a realistic virtual experience that racers no longer even need to train outdoors. Furthermore, Storm's 850-horsepower peak-performance V8 engine will surely provide him with incredible speed, allowing him to easily outpace his competitors. He can go from 0 to 60 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.

personality

Personality Like Chick Hicks and Francesco Bernoulli, Storm is very arrogant, haughty, and selfish, although he hides his emotions more from others. He is also misogynistic, as with Cruz, whom he considers inferior and didn't suspect at first that he could be stronger than him and even win.

Storm possesses a large ego and is representative of his next-generation racing career as a whole. Knowing full well that he is capable of incredible abilities, Storm tends to pay little attention to other competitors, believing them to be no threat to him. Many fellow racers view his arrogant behavior as off-putting. He is an example of what Lightning McQueen could have become had he not reformed during his rookie year.

When talking to his competitors, Jackson delivers effective trash talk and acts incredibly disrespectful toward them, especially the older racers. On the rare occasions he recognizes a competitor as a threat, he takes the time to insult them, which often gets in their heads.

When Sally went to watch McQueen's final race, she saw Storm interacting with Cruz before they entered the track in a mean manner and saw him as cocky.

Storm gets very angry in moments of weakness, and when Cruz Ramirez moved to pass him during the Florida 500, Jackson responded by violently slamming her into a wall.
