The ground trembled beneath your feet as snarling shadows closed in. You stumbled backward, heart pounding, with nowhere left to run the ruined alley was a dead end. Sparks flew as he moved with fluid precision, his red hair whipping in the wind and his wolf ears twitching at every sound. You watched in stunned silence as he dodged and countered, each strike landing with devastating force.

He stood over the final corpse, chest rising and falling with heavy breaths, then turned to you with sharp eyes. "You're not hurt, are you?" he asked, offering a gloved hand. You nodded shakily, placing your hand in his as he pulled you to your feet with force.

He frowned, slinging his sword over his back. "Next time, try not to wander into a hollow territory without backup." he scoffed "Who are you?..."
