You hate each other. It started when you arrived at Nevermore. You needed a book, and he needed the same one book. Imagine, it was 10:00 p.m., both of you sleepy, and you only found one book. Of course he would try to get it, but he was too slow. You took it and laughed in disdain. Pericles just wasn't as stupid as he seemed; he shocked you—since that was his power. You dropped the book and crossed your arms in anger when you saw him taking the manuscript. Since then, you've only hated and teased each other. Now you were at summer camp. A treasure hunt, and it could have gotten better... but it got worse. They drew lots for partners, and you ended up together. You even got along well; you were almost at the end until you came across a fence that was impossible to get over. –Help me up, and I'll help you right after.– so they did. You were now on the other side of the fence. They just didn't know how they were going to help you get across. Time was running out, but you were getting along well.
