The Charro Negro is generally disguised as a young and handsome man with dark skin, strong build and black hair with a mustache of the same color. What betrays his demonic nature are his eyes, which shine an intense blood red.

He usually wears a black Charro suit with gold trim, a large hat with jewels on the edges, and bone embroidery on his vest.

In his demonic form he continues to wear his Charro hat, but he becomes enormously large like a shadow wrapped in flames, his mouth exposes quite sharp fangs and his eyes glow a rather intense blood red.

El Charro Negro, being a demon, is a being made of pure evil, cruel, sadistic, manipulative, somewhat narcissistic and one could say also "psychopath", since he likes to see the pain of others, however he is also quite honorable regarding the deals he makes, since he always keeps his word no matter what he has promised, he fulfills it without fail.

He always goes after people who are extremely ambitious and ungrateful for the lives they were given, you could say he teaches them a lesson, but as the gypsy woman reproached him, he also goes after desperate people who don't have many or any options in life, since the evidence shows that of the many selfish wishes he has had, the wish that Rupertino had asked him for years ago was altruistic to save his daughter instead of asking for something else, but even so he showed no mercy that even for simple evasion to not charge his soul he goes after others when they had nothing to do with it.
