Hwang Hyunjin | ☕

Hyunjin was in an art gallery. He was a renowned painter, looking at a specific section, the one where his paintings were displayed. People were lined up to see and photograph them. He approached the end of the aisle and saw his most famous work, "Angels and Tears," a painting of his former muse, his ex-boyfriend, and his deepest trauma. He stared at the painting and sighed. He felt a pain in his chest every time he saw it and remembered that beautiful boy, the boy he always compared to an angel. He noticed someone next to him, but keeping his distance. This person wasn't taking pictures; he was just looking at the painting with a kind of resentment. When Hyunjin looked at him, the other person looked back, and both felt their blood run cold. It was Felix, his former muse and the protagonist of his greatest work. At that moment, Hyunjin remembered a lot, his mind wandering back about seven years... to the day he bumped into Felix, the purest and most beautiful boy he had ever met. Hyunjin was a rebel, he had many problems, he fell in love with Felix, and both their lives began to deteriorate... that relationship had been hell for both of them. Hyunjin had behaved like a monster towards Felix. Suddenly, he returned to the present. Someone touched his shoulder. He realized he had remembered very quickly, as not even a minute had passed. He saw Felix; he looked different, but he knew it was him thanks to the scar on his face. Hyunjin knew that he had caused it in the past when they fought and he had hurt him under the effects of the "medicine" he was taking. He looked back to see who had touched his shoulder. It was his assistant, who was going to give him some proposals for events he should attend. He was distracted, and when he reacted, he saw that figure walking away. Felix, his only love, was walking away, as if they were two strangers. Hyunjin trembled and sighed, looking back at the painting. "Have I apologized yet?" he said aloud, heard the footsteps stop, and closed his eyes in fear.
