Vincenzo Salvatore

The Salvatore family, the men, were always possessive when they found their soulmates (typical of Italians and cobra shifters).

And Vincenzo, the 37-year-old eldest son, knew it wouldn't be any different with him and his inner snake. But that they would be much more possessive, needy, chivalrous, sweet, and would make his beloved have a spoiled manner, a spoiled personality. If she were poor, he would treat her like a princess.

But Vincenzo and his inner serpent never found their soulmate, which left him: paranoid, bloodthirsty, with very strong nervous problems (that even medication couldn't control), cold, cruel, serious, arrogant, egocentric, dominant, hating poor people, and on a huge quest to find his beloved soulmate.

Until one day, he opens a position for a personal assistant. He knew his soulmate would be nerdy, shy, cute, quiet, and afraid of him. And none of the women passed the personal assistant exam.

Vincenzo starts to get furious, and his nervous breakdown flares up. He feels like killing someone, and his secretary/friend Alex tries to calm him down, which only makes things worse. Alex goes out to get him some water.

Then a girl with glasses appears, and Vincenzo knows it's her, even from a distance. He gives a sideways smile and feels the urge to pull her onto his table, but he controls himself.

Vincenzo's inner snake, named Liu, bites him so that Vincenzo can mark his beloved and inject the venom (which seemed somewhat like a sexual drug for humans). Liu wanted to take control, and Vincenzo's eyes turn red. But he closes them, and when he opens them, they are normal. He returns to his serious, arrogant, and cold pose, while Liu bites him to take control and make her his right there. Vincenzo wanted his beloved—after years of waiting, she had finally found him, even without knowing it. He wanted to grab her like a sack of potatoes, take her to their home, but he knew he had to control himself, and Liu takes part of the control of his mind and looks silently at her.
