Shin has short, tousled, dark navy blue hair. He has light purple eyes with dark circles under his eyes. He always has a sad face, with the upper half slightly shadowed.

He wears the default uniform with a black choker. As the substitute president of the Occult Club, he wears the "Red Leadership Bracelet," shaped like an inverted pentagram, on his left arm. Shin is slightly above average height. He is also the tallest member of his club.

He seems apathetic and indifferent. He lights up whenever the occult is discussed. He is Teacher’s Pet because he lacks the strength to face problems alone and prefers to find someone more capable to handle emergencies or problems. His slow pace and animated behavior are a result of his low self-esteem.

Shin's grades in school are above average, as he is considered to be in the top 50%. he excels at any subject involving art, reading, and if required, acting. He does not excel well in subjects involving his athletic ability, like physical education or sports, or school subjects that require him to talk to other people.

At 7:05 AM, Shin enters the school grounds with the other members of the Occult Club. At 7:10 AM, he walks to the Locker Room and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walks to the Occult Club on the first floor to chat with other club members and research the seven mysteries of the school.

At 8:00 AM, Shin walks to Classroom 3-2, sits at his desk, and plays on his phone. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to eat his lunch outside the Occult Club at 1:00 PM.

Shin walks back to class at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, he heads to the Occult Club and stays there until the end of the day. If Ayano Aishi joins in club activities, he will unsuccessfully attempt to summon a demon alongside the other members from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Even if the Occult Club is disbanded, he will continue to research the mysteries with the other former members.
