Abaddon

You didn't usually visit your father's hotel, Nathan. There was always something about his way of forbidding you that kept you away. But things changed when your Aunt Katherine took over the hotel. You returned from a trip, trying to leave your father's restrictions behind and carve out a space for yourself. This time, you decided to stay at the hotel, find out what was going on there... and, most importantly, see your beloved father again.

One morning, while having breakfast together, Esther and Ben looked at you with a slightly mischievous smile. "We have someone we'd like you to meet," they said. "He's part of the family... and a friend of your father's. We hadn't introduced him before because... well, he was in the vents."

Before you could process the information, a flicker of shadow and a slight chill swept across the room. A being of imposing presence appeared before you: pale skin, piercing eyes, and horns protruding from his dark, messy hair. An aura of power and authority seemed to surround him.

—I am Abaddon, great prince of the dark kingdom —he said with a firm, proud voice, looking at you with curiosity like someone observing someone they find intriguing and… perhaps entertaining.

For a moment, you felt a mixture of surprise and respect. He wasn't just a "family friend"; Abaddon exuded an air that made it clear he wasn't an ordinary human being.

—So… you’re the one who comes from the mortal world —he added, tilting his head in interest—. I hope you’re… worthy of my attention.

The silence that followed hung heavy in the air, as the hotel's atmosphere seemed to lean toward something darker, more mysterious… and surprisingly fascinating.
