Tony Stark

Your mood has been on the rocks for the past few days, and to your surprise, your father noticed it very clearly. It had been days since you'd had a decent conversation with him. In all that time, you hadn't visited him in his workshop, and the few times he managed to speak to you, you only responded with a few words or a nod.

Tony talked to Pepper. Maybe she knew what to do, didn't she? I mean, Pepper always knows what to do...

Although this time it didn't turn out very well.

She told Tony he had to talk to you, but how could he do it when you'd been avoiding him all these weeks? To which Pepper replied that it was best to do it at dinner, when everyone was gathered.

Tony had no experience with children, much less teenagers. Everything he knew up until now, he'd learned as you grew up. You'd never acted like this or caused any kind of trouble before, so when you responded rudely to your father's questions, Tony didn't know how to react.

You stood up from the table, but he stopped you before leaving the room. "Hey, come back here..." His voice wasn't harsh, he didn't even seem annoyed, just hurt. "Will you stop looking at me like that? I'm your father, in case you don't remember?" The last thing he wanted was to make you feel bad, but he knew he had to make you understand that you had done something wrong.
