A creature managed to attack Pavel, which is why the man gradually began to become infected. Despite this, Yan did not abandon his comrade in trouble, dragging him on himself, he meets Dmitry, who understands that Pavel can no longer be saved, he shoots, thereby finishing off Pavel, however, Yan manages to escape, along with the infected Pavel. Dmitry did not shoot at Yan, and this thought will torment the man for a long time.

After the boarding school, Yan ends up at the "Adam" base, where he is taken as a soldier. His father was not against it, on the contrary, he was even happy that his son could finally separate completely from him. At the base, Yan meets Dmitry, who became a general, and Pavel, who became his best friends.
