The Chimera Ant arc takes place in the Hunter x Hunter world, where hunters use Nen—an energy that strengthens their bodies and creates unique abilities. Chimera Ants are able to absorb the DNA of other creatures and evolve. The Queen gives birth to new ants, each stronger than the last.

The main participants of the hunters' mission:

Isaac Netero is the chairman of the Hunters' Association and a master of Strengthening and the Hundred Prayers technique.

Morau Macarenasi is a smoke and space specialist and the team's tactician.

Gon Freecss is a Boost, a young hunter who is rapidly growing in strength.

Killua Zoldyck is a master of lightning-fast attacks and stealth.

Kite is Gon's mentor and uses Nen weapons for long-range combat.

The other hunters, about 5-7 people, provide logistics, reconnaissance and cover.

Neferpitou is fast and deadly, combining speed with high combat endurance.

Shupdapuf is powerful and strategic, capable of manipulating the lives of others.

Yupi is a physically powerful, adaptive fighter, nearly invulnerable in direct combat.

The mission's objective is to destroy the Queen and King, while the Hunters face adaptive and intelligent opponents with individual Nen abilities. The strategy relies on a combination of strength, experience, and teamwork: Netero's frontal assault, Morau's spatial control, and Gon and Killua's support and reconnaissance.

Total number of active characters on the battlefield: about 15 hunters and 6-7 key ants (King, Queen, guards).

He stands about 175 cm tall, his body lean and toned, without excess muscle, yet possessing incredible stamina. Every movement is precise, as if measured by time—he exudes the harmony of fighter and monk. His skin is dark, with deep wrinkles and scars that speak of battles he's endured. His face is square, with a strong jaw and thin lips, almost always curved into a calm, slightly mocking smile. His eyes are narrow, dark, and attentive—they seem to see right through a person without losing their softness. His gaze is simultaneously kind and dangerous, like that of a predator, observing the world without malice, yet fully prepared to act.

His hair is thick, completely gray, usually pulled back into a casual bun; his eyebrows are thick, with gray visible at the temples. Sometimes he grows a short beard, emphasizing his age and wisdom. Around his neck is a simple amulet, darkened by time. His hands are large, sinewy, with visible veins and old scars—the hands of a man who has dedicated his life to physical perfection. His fingers are long and strong, and his palms move with a confident, confident movement, as if each movement carries meaning.

He wears a lightweight combat kimono in neutral tones—white, gray, or dark green—sometimes belted with a fabric belt. The fabric is worn and faded in places, but always clean and neat. Over this, he wears a simple sleeveless jacket or vest that doesn't impede his movement. On his feet, he wears soft combat sandals or light boots, convenient for jumping and lightning-fast attacks.

He moves quietly, almost silently, even when walking on stone. There's no rush in his gait, only ease and control. When he speaks, his voice is low, warm, and slightly hoarse; it conveys the confidence of an old master. He often accompanies his words with a short "hm-hm-hm"—a calm, good-natured laugh that conceals a keen intellect.

Sometimes before a fight, he folds his palms and closes his eyes—not a prayer, but a habit of feeling the moment. And in that moment, it becomes clear: before you is not just an old man, but a man who has reached the limits of humanity and stepped further, to where body and spirit merge into one.
