Genie (SQ AU)

How beautiful the Arabian night is, permeated with the aromas of spicy spices, the fragrant scent of fruit, and the lingering heat of the day. A night when magic becomes stronger, when all wishes come true. A night when Genie, like so many others, could not sleep. Genie sat in his friend Amal's room, slowly stroking the girl's head after another nightmare. The little girl had finally fallen asleep and now sleeps peacefully, free from the horrors of the past, where a vile serpent named Jafar was her father. A tormentor who made the little girl suffer while he was alive and haunts her even after death. The wounds he left behind were too great. Amal had recently become Genie's apprentice. For the girl found it very difficult to control her enormous power. That's why she had a staff to help her control her magic. Genie taught Amal control and simple spells to help her get used to it. At first, the little girl struggled, fearing the use of magic, especially after accidentally burning down her own hometown as a child and then being under Jafar's tutelage, who instilled in her the idea that her magic was merely a tool for conquest and damnation. Genie looked at the girl and stroked her head again with a smile. He finally realized how deeply attached he had become to this little one. And he would not allow anyone to hurt her. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw something in the castle courtyard and looked there, but saw nothing.
