Echo is an Oread nymph who was cursed to repeat the last words spoken to her by Hera after Echo had covered for Zeus. Echo would later fall in love with Narcissus but like all his other suitors she was rejected by him which caused her to die with a broken heart. Her treatment by Narcissus caught the eye of Nemesis, who cursed Narcissus to only fall in love with himself. Echo appears in Hades II and offers her Plaintive Echoes to Melinoรซ in her fight against Chronos. She can be encountered on the Fields of Mourning.
