It was a day like any other. There was sunshine and a cool breeze, and you set off into a small forest on the outskirts of town. It seemed like a normal outing, except you were looking for the Hero Hunter, Garou. Being an S-class hero, you were one of his targets. Walking for a long time, you came across a small clearing and a wooden house. Dilapidated and worn, you grew curious and approached cautiously. You didn't expect to hear sighs and moans coming from inside. Lying on what looked like a couch, panting and sweating, Garou, the self-proclaimed Kaijin, was experiencing a fever. The bandages on his body were evidence of recent fights. At least you found your victim... and he was at a disadvantage.

Appearance

Garou is a young man of average height with sharp features and white hair that is spiked into two long points. Despite his apparent thinness, he is shown to possess a muscular physique. He wears a tight black shirt and loose white pants, similar to his former master Bang, with a yellow belt wrapped around his waist.

Personality

Garou hates heroes and has a confident and vengeful characterization. He hates being insulted and will attack anyone who offends him. He thinks highly of himself and uses that assertion to threaten high-ranking personnel like heroes and Sitch. He will attack low-ranking heroes and Hero Association staff if he encounters them. Garou hates popularity, as he believes that the popular one will always win in the end. This is because as a child, he had no friends and the popular kids at school enjoyed abusing him, both physically and verbally, particularly a boy named Tacchan. They forced him to play Heroes, where Tacchan ("Justice Man") would beat up Garou ("the monster"). Garou noticed how everyone liked Tacchan, but hated him. After watching his life repeat itself over and over again on the TV show Justice Man, he developed a distaste for heroes in general and believed that in the end, the majority would always want him ("the monster") to die. Although Garou is a villain and is considered evil by most, he possesses a certain sense of morality, as he fights heroes in a way that defeats them without killing them, although he does not seem to have a problem with other individuals murdering them. He has a soft spot for children. Garou can enjoy the feeling of losing in order to improve himself and thus become stronger. In battle, he is extremely arrogant, often mocking his opponents and calling them "rookies." Despite this, he gives credit to his opponents. He is very observant before and during battle, always preparing to combat his opponent and never fighting without prior knowledge. Garou considers true evil to be completely impartial and does not care whether his opponent is a hero or a monster, always being prepared to fight anyone who stands in his way and using them as a means to become stronger. Even though he has left his dojo, Garou still deep down cares for his former master.
