Cherno Alpha is a Mark-1 Russian Jaeger featured in the 2013 film Pacific Rim. As one of the oldest and heaviest Jaegers, it was designed for maximum defense, featuring a distinct, bunker-like design intended to resemble Russian military tanks. Crimson Typhoon is a Mark-IV Chinese Jaeger from the 2013 film Pacific Rim. It is famously recognized as a three-armed, red-armored mech designed for rapid, acrobatic combat, primarily defending the Hong Kong Shatterdome.

Valor Omega is a Mark-6 Canadian Jaeger from the Pacific Rim universe, specifically appearing in Pacific Rim: Uprising and the Breach Wars mobile game. It is designed as a civilian-assisted Jaeger, often used for disaster relief and search-and-rescue operations.

The Depth Crawler is a single-seat, four-legged machine equipped with two large cannons and a smaller Gatling gun in a limited-traverse mount under the cockpit. It is an agile vehicle capable of adhering to any surface, dramatically increasing the mobility of the Air Raider.

The Depth Crawler is also able to jump and execute a short slide-dodge, handling somewhat like a much weightier Fencer with no cancelling options. If the vehicle encounters another surface while jumping it will stick to it, and can jump from any angle.

The Depth Crawler is also equipped with powerful headlights that provide far better illumination in the now-dark tunnel missions than the helmet lamp of a soldier.

There are a variety of different Depth Crawler weapon loadouts suitable for various situations, though all of those situations have to taken in light of the fact that it is made of spit and tissue paper.

Deploying a new Depth Crawler underground will summon it instantly on the exact spot where the grenade landed; it simply appears magically in a puff of smoke. If it is requested above ground, it will be delivered by container in the usual manner.

The Vegalta in 2017 is a bipedal humanoid one-man power suit with reverse-jointed legs and weapons mounted where its hands would be. The appearance is of an industrial rather than a military machine, with external cables and piping, and major components completely exposed. The driver sits in an open cockpit at the top of the machine where its head would be; in spite of this, the Vegalta has formidible armor and offers complete protection to EDF soldiers while they are using it.

In EDF 2017 there is only one type of Vegalta, which can be found pre-placed in certain maps. Its stats vary according to the difficulty level, but it is always armed with the same weapons: a machine gun, rocket launcher, and a flamethrower.

The Epsilon is a heavy tank, slower than a near-level E551 Gigantus and with slower turret rotation as well, but heavier armor. It is a 3-seat vehicle armed with a powerful electromagnetic cannon operated by the driver, and two heavy machine guns on either side. The machine guns are entered from the sides of the vehicle and have a fire arc of slightly greater than 180 degrees on the side they are on, while the driver enters to the rear of the vehicle. The two machine guns are mounted on the turret and rotate with it.

With the exception of the 4D Burst model, all Epsilons fire a single powerful projectile with a perfectly flat trajectory; the projectile is around the same speed as a Ranger's sniper rifle bullets, and still requires some target-leading at a distance. The 4D Burst instead fires a fairly tight spread of 4 projectiles.

The projectiles fired by the Epsilon's main gun will penetrate multiple targets, and unusually for non-explosive weapons they can also destroy buildings. A shot from an Epsilon cannot penetrate an intact building, however; a projectile that hits a building will be destroyed.

In 2025 and 4.1 the gun sadly lacks a collision box, so any plans to use it as an impromptu ladder will end in failure.

Gigantic Unloader Barga is a 47 meter-tall humanoid construction vehicle. Barga was developed as part of an initiative from the Japanese government, and astronomical funds were put into its completion. However, once the program was completed with some eleven examples built, there were numerous safety and cost concerns regarding the vehicle's operation. They were deemed unusable and transferred to the Earth Defense Force, who kept them in storage, with ten partially scrapped or not completed. However, the EDF found a use for the only Barga operable at the time when faced with the seemingly invincible Archelus. While Barga was not developed for military purposes, the EDF was able to repurpose it for combat and deployed it into battle.

Like the Nix, Barga can be piloted by all four soldier classes, while many other vehicles can only be piloted by Air Raiders and Rangers. There is initially only one Barga in the game, which is orange-yellow in color, but after Archelus' defeat the EDF begins mass-upgrading the remainder to produce grey "War Bargas."

Balam is a 50-metre giant, a smaller variant of the moving Fortress X-4 developed for an unclear "operation" that concluded before it was ready (possibly a reference to Earth Defense Force 2017's Vallak Dino Mech battles) and placed in storage. With the emergence of the monster Erginus the Balam was hurriedly made ready for combat and deployed to deal with the new threat.

Though powerful, its incomplete state means it is lacking in defensive armament; while it mounts two gun turrets on its hips, these are disabled on most variants due to the need to focus the vehicle's energies on close combat.

The E651 Titan is a giant vehicle that the Air Raider can call on in Earth Defense Force 2025 and Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair. In Earth Defense Force 5 the Air Raider can call on the same vehicle, now called the B651 Titan.At 25 metres long, this gargantuan super-tank is one of the largest vehicles in the EDF's arsenal. Armed with a battleship-grade main gun, it is able to annihilate almost any opponent in a single shot, and quite capable of defending itself from hordes of giant insects with its thick armor and powerful secondary weapons, though it requires a crew of three to be completely effective.

All Titans have six weapons; the driver operates the main Requiem Cannon and a fixed bow-mounted machine gun that fires directly forwards. Other crew operate two smaller turrets mounted on top of the main one that can fire in an arc of a little over 180 degrees on the side they are mounted on; on all but the first Titan, these guns can penetrate through multiple targets. The final weapon varies according to the tank: the first Titan has grenade projectors that fire at fixed locations and can be used against enemies around the vehicle, while the later two have guided missile launchers instead.
