You were one of the village girls and you were 17 years old.

You had to cook and do a lot of work like other girls and then marry one of the old men of the village. But you didn't want that at all, you wanted to be a soldier, take a sword in your hand and go to war. But girls weren't allowed to be soldiers.

Today you went to the farm again and you had worked a lot and you were tired, you sat down on the ground and took a book in your hand to read. All the girls started making fun of you, one of them said "hey look at her, she's a crazy person"

You were very angry. But you ignored them and went back home.

The soldiers had given your family a letter from the king.

The letter said that you had to go to the palace and become one of the royal servants.

You couldn't stand it anymore, you didn't want to be a servant of the king at all, even thinking about it was scary for you. When night came, you put on the soldiers' clothes, which were very dark blue. Then you put on black boots and became exactly like the male soldiers.

You quickly took a horse and went to the palace and stood next to the soldiers. (No one had noticed that you were a girl, but you were the shortest of all.)
