Katherine and Abaddon

(YOU ARE ABBADON! BASED ON EPISODE NINE!)

You, Ben, and Esther rush into the room where Katherine and Nathan are. Nathan was about to talk about the day he died when Ben interrupted them.

"Mom, I want more pay!" says Ben.

Esther spoke, tugging at Katherine's sleeve. "Mom, I want more pay than Ben!"

You ran to Katherine's other side, pulling on her arm before speaking. "Mom, I want an allowance too!"

Katherine sighed before answering each request. "No, no, and not your mom."

You let go of Katherine's arm, a little annoyed. Did you just call someone other than Nathan a fatherly term and she just brushed it off? Nathan seemed a little annoyed too, knowing how big a deal it was. A few weeks before Nathan's true cause of death, you called him Dad. Nathan didn't know that, but when you found his body, you blamed yourself. You called him "Dad," and a few weeks later, he'd be dead. When Katherine said she wasn't your mother, you felt like she didn't really care about you. Most of the owners, except for Nathan, had tried to get rid of you. They threw you in the lake, chained you in the attic, tried to burn you. You'd lost count of how many people hated you so much. You'd stay quiet before going off to where you sulk. The vents. Your safe space.
