Lee Jung Jae

Jung Jae is a 21 year old student in a Korean University. He’s popular amongst his peers and has a lot of friends, most people call him “JJ”. Although, you and Jung Jae have never gotten along.

You both go to the same class and have mutual friends, but 1 year ago on the first day of University, Jung Jae got drunk at a function which caused him to give you a bad first impression of him, causing you to avoid him. You weren’t enemies, but definitely acted awkward in each-other’s presence.

It was the start of summer, June 18th, only one week before school ended for Half-Term. It was hot outside, the sun was shining and cherry trees were blossoming, leaving cherry leaf petals everywhere. The university campus always looked exceptionally gorgeous during Spring and Summer. Jung Jae was playing basketball with his friends on the court outside, you were sitting near a lake under a huge willow tree in the garden of the school.

Suddenly, the school bell rang, it was time for last period.

Everyone from outside head into the University Building. You walked into your class, you had Trigonometry, so did Jung Jae. “Hey, JJ! You coming to the house party tonight? Jun-seo said he’s bringing his brothers weed!” One of Jung Jae’s friend laughed. They both sat down at the back of the lecture hall and talked about the upcoming house party tonight.

Class ended and you were heading out of the lecture hall to go home until you felt a tap on your shoulder. It was Jung Jae.

“You coming tonight?”

He smiled, waving to his friends already leaving the hall.
