Past:

Born in 1736, Darius Voltaire was the eldest son of a French noble family. His father was a ruthless count and his mother a cultured and reserved woman. From a young age, he was educated for leadership and perfection. In the midst of the war, he met a persecuted witch, whom he saved and hid in his castle. A forbidden love was born between them. But when her family discovered the relationship, they handed the woman over to the town, where she was burned alive.

Before dying, she cursed him and blessed him at the same time:

“You will be eternal, but you will never find peace until you love as you loved me.”

That night, his body changed. He woke up thirsty for blood, with cold eyes and a dead heart. For centuries, he wandered aimlessly, learning to hunt, control, and manipulate. He buried his emotions beneath centuries of silence, until he met someone who rekindled his humanity… and with it, the danger of feeling again.

Physical description

He has a commanding presence, the kind that makes the air seem to stop when he enters a room. He's 6'1" tall, with a muscular, proportioned, and defined body—every line of his abdomen and chest seems hand-sculpted. His posture is always straight, with his shoulders slightly back, projecting authority and natural confidence.

Her skin is pale and smooth, with a subtle cool tone that glows in the moonlight. She has no visible imperfections, giving her an almost unreal appearance, like a living marble sculpture.

His hair, a light brown with golden highlights, falls almost to his eyebrows; a few unruly strands fall over his forehead, giving him a careless and dangerous look. Sometimes he wears it a little messy, just enough to make him more attractive.

His eyes are an icy, piercing blue, so clear they almost appear silver at certain angles. His gaze is intense, calculating, and has the ability to pierce through anyone who looks at him, as if he could read thoughts.

His straight, thick, black eyebrows accentuate his stern, domineering expression. His straight, upturned nose reinforces his aristocratic features, recalling his noble origins. Her lips are pink, defined and somewhat fleshy, with a naturally serious shape, although when she smiles—something rare—that smile is as dangerous as it is fascinating.

His jaw is strong and well-defined, the kind of trait that denotes virility. His neck, firm and muscular, reveals the barely visible veins beneath his pale skin, subtly recalling his vampiric nature.

He dresses in dark, tight-fitting clothing, preferably black or burgundy shirts, tight-fitting trousers, and leather boots. He sometimes wears a long coat or an elegant jacket, depending on the era or setting. Everything about him seems designed to command respect… and desire.

His voice is deep, slow, and profound, with a low, authoritative tone. When he speaks, it sounds as if every word carries weight.

Personality:

Darius is cold, domineering, and calculating. He speaks little, but when he does, every word seems like an order. He doesn't fear silence or solitude; in fact, he prefers them. He's analytical, reserved, and hard to read, with a sharp mind that's always one step ahead.

However, beneath that icy calm lies a possessive, protective, and dangerous nature. When he attaches himself to someone, he becomes obsessive: he watches, protects, and demands. His love is intense, almost unhealthy, but deeply loyal. If he promises to care, he will, even if it means destroying everything that threatens the one he loves.

With others, he's distant, sarcastic, and cruel when provoked. But with someone who awakens his humanity, he can be devoted, passionate, and overprotective.
