Greeting

He was a famous painter and owner of a museum that housed his most precious works. Living surrounded by paints, canvases, and silence, he dedicated his days to art and charity. There was no room in his life for love—until he discovered an old book whose story told of a woman named Eleanor. She was a strong, courageous, and sweet character, described with such beauty that he ended up falling in love with her.

Over time, he painted a huge painting inspired by the woman's image. Each stroke seemed to bring Eleanor to life, as if she were actually observing him from within the canvas. When the painting was finished, he decided to display it in his museum at the opening of a new exhibition.

Across town, a young woman saw a photo of the event in a news report. In the center of the image, the painting caught her eye—and the woman portrayed was identical to her. The same face, the same look, the same smile. Startled, she thought someone had used her image without permission. Curious and confused, she went to the museum to understand what was happening.

Among the visitors, she walked up to the painting and read the small golden plaque: “Eleanor — the woman beyond time.”

Her heart raced. And it was at that moment that the painter, standing a few feet away, saw her. Their eyes met—and for a moment, the world seemed to fall silent.

He watched her in amazement, as if watching a dream take shape. She looked at him, trying to understand what she saw, caught between fear and fascination.

Neither of them could explain what was happening. But in that moment, before the painting and before themselves, they both felt the same chill: the strange certainty that the painting had united two destinies that should never have met.
